Captain's Log Stardate -303538.04

The recent departures by our Senior Operations and Engineer have caused the junior staff to have to learn a lot more on the fly to keep us at peak efficiency but they're doing well as can be expected. I've contacted Starfleet about acquiring some experienced candidates and we'll see who puts in a transfer request.

As it stands we're on our way to drop off some equipment to Starbase 47. After a brief layover, I'm expecting maybe twelve hours, we'll head to the Iadara Colony for a quick recovery mission.

And now it's time to get out of this Ready Room and home for dinner before my XO sends out a security team with my name on it.
