The private interview I did with our guest down in the brig was less than fulfilling or comforting. I still think she's a religious zealot with visions of grandeur but I'd be lying if I said she didn't completely believe what she said. She gave me the same warning she said she wanted to pass on in the earlier interrogation. Abandon about 30% of the Alpha Quadrant or else. Or else what? We'd see and remember our loss. That was the answer. I could tell Edra didn't like what she was hearing anymore than I did.

So now we're on route to Earth to drop this woman off for further...talks. And we're picking up a new Chief Engineer. A Cardassian I hear which will make things interesting with the XO. She's a pro and I don't expect any problems but I also won't be surprised with an early flinch or two.
