Mission: The Voyage Home
Location: Caressa's quarters
Timeline: same as mission

She was back in her quarters after the service. She hated funerals; tears and crying were not her thing. She removed the top of her dress uniform. Tossing it in the sofa. She stood by the window of her quarters. Watching the stars as they whisked by. She thought about the past years and all that had happened aboard this ship.
She thought of Stacy, boy did she miss her. She was not only her commander but also her friend. Stacy had the opportunity to make her family complete again, an opportunity she would never have. She wiped a tear from her eye. “Ok Caressa suck it up buttercup you’re a big girl.” Talking to herself. Making matters worse her elf friend also left the same time as Stacy. Danae was a sassy thing.
Remembering early years, the fun away mission’s inches from death. Saving Henry’s ass more than once. Almost killing him and the rest of the ship when she injected nanites into him so he would not die. Going to bat for him in the bad times. The birth of the kids, then SHE came back. She did not exactly hate Edra, it was just her existence that bothered her mostly. She had left the ship willingly. A love triangle aboard ship was something that none of them needed. Even more so, when she found out her marriage to Henry was non-existent since Edra was never declared dead. The offer to teach at Star Fleet Academy was a good and came at a great time. Until Chance Crow arrive at the Academy and she had to see him in class every day. It just brought back all those feelings again. She was trying to run from everything. She was doing a great job. Then orders came and she was recalled back to the Merc, in fact, she was forced back. Admiral DeWhitt, in a sadistic game, using her past relationship with Henry to try to make him vulnerable and ruin him. He was a pathetic Human being. Wiping tears once again. She walked over and sat at the console, writing her Uncle Mikos. It was safe now to bring the children back. Not on board ship, but she would love to see them. She hoped Henry would want to see them. They had been in hiding for the past year, due to him. He could at least make it up to them. Her Uncle could also get her house ready for her return. Home, I am going home. She looked up. “Hartsfield sorry you died, but I am not sorry we are headed home”
She dried her tears. I have to find something to occupy my mind and my day. I am going to drive myself crazy. She started to rifle through the clothes in her closet. I think a shopping trip is in order. She took out a work uniform and hung up the dress uniform top she tossed on the sofa. She headed out the door to the Turbo Lift. “Deck 4”
