| General Overview | Ethan is an excellent pilot. In his brief Starfleet career he has shown that he has what it takes to be the best but possibly the only thing holding him back is himself. A friend once said “Ethan is an intelligent man, who isn’t always the brightest or wisests.” Those that know him tend to say that he doesn’t have a filter. Often will speak before thinking about what he is saying. This tends to land him trouble. Both in professional life and personal life. He doesn’t do it to offend even through sometimes it comes across in such a way. Ethan would say that he is opinionated but the truth is that he enjoys playing the devil's advocate. Devil's advocate and all he is still a caring, dependable and protective individual. Those that he considers to be his friends he would do absolutely anything for. A major part of why is his upbringing. Ethan is by no means shy. He is an outgoing individual that likes to have a good time. Tends to be slightly flirtatious. He enjoys meeting new people, and getting to know them. He likes to hear what adventures others have been on, and experiences they are willing to share. |

A weakness and a strength While at times his opinion is valued and necessary he also tends to get in trouble speaking when it necessarily isn’t the best time. He is a quick learner and a quick study. Anything that he puts his mind to he can accomplish however at times lack the commitment and dedication necessary. Very skillful pilot. Can fly just about anything which sometimes can cause him to take unnecessary risks. Struggles to have personal relationships with opposite gender. Tends to have commitment issues. Very independent. But he is very charming, and attractive. |

| Personal History | Ethan Cross was born and raised on Earth. He lost his mother at a very young age. At least that is what his father tells him. His father was a pilot for Starfleet, however he didn’t fly your standard starships but worked at the yards as an experimental pilot. When Ethan was about 4 years older his father married a woman Eleanor. She was also a single parent. She has a son named William who was a few years older than Ethan. The two of them never got along. Lot of tension between them. His father and his new wife would say boys will be boys but truth be told even into their teenage years the two never got along. His father and Eleanor did end up having two kids together. Both girls, and for most part Ethan gets along without any issues with them. After high school he wasted no time in leaving his home. He enlisted in Starfleet, and left to attend the Starfleet Academy. Once he graduate from Starfleet Academy his first posting was aboard the USS Chosin, where he served as a Helm Officer for three years. After that he transferred to the USS Iona to be the Assistant Chief Helm Officer. Following a two year stop on the USS Iona Ethan transferred to the USS Mercutio to be the Chief Helm Officer. |
