Physical Description		Millie has the lithe body of a ballerina, which is fitting, as she grew up at the Bolshoi Ballet Academy. Her long, dark hair is almost always pulled up into a tight bun (at least, while on duty), and her hazel eyes have an uncanny way of piercing the soul and convincing others to tell her their problems.

Personality & Traits

General Overview		Millie tends to be a quiet force in the room, keeping her personal life to herself for the most part. It sometimes seems like she is never entirely 'off-duty", as she is always seen speaking with one crew member or another, often in confidence. Mild-mannered, but ready to assert herself should the situation require it.
Strengths & Weaknesses		Because of Millie's previous postings, she is often slow to make deep friendships, knowing that she is likely to be reassigned to another crew or colony at the whim of Starfleet. She is frequently reserved about her own personal life, and tends to only reveal details about her family relationships when absolutely required. In a crisis situation, Millie tends to be incredibly dependable. Her instincts make her quick to jump in to a sticky situation (even if it may sometimes get her in over her head). She can be a calming influence in the most stressful of negotiations, and is often teased about how the touch of her hand on an arm can get someone to reveal almost anything about themselves.
Ambitions		Millie initially began her Starfleet career studying Linguistics at the Academy. During a holiday break in her first year, she was observed assisting a student in distress, talking them down from taking their own life. After seeing her quick response and her ability to diffuse the situation, it was suggested by one of the Counseling program heads that she apply to transfer into the Crisis Intervention program. Millie has not otherwise expressed any other ambitions or desires.
Hobbies & Interests		In her spare time, Millie is often seeking out the company of crew mates, though often to connect with those who would otherwise not wander into her office for a session. Her early mornings before shift are predictably spent on the holodeck or in the gym engaged in dance. Recently, she has taken to self-defense and combat training from Banks and Lt. Edruj, though likely due to the concern of her safety on away missions by her friends. Otherwise, her spare time is in communication with the Bolshoi Ballet, serving as Director and Owner of the company.

Personal History

Millie is the only child of Verochka Stepanova, who served as the Lead Soloist with the Bolshoi Ballet in Moscow until her unexpected pregnancy with Millie. Verochka then served as an instructor of classical ballet for the Moscow State Academy of Choreography, where Millie herself attended. Millie received no formal education, other than the encouragement of academic pursuits by her patron Anton Mikhailov, Millie turned down a position in the Corps de Ballet with the Bolshoi Ballet, and instead chose to attend Starfleet Academy.

Millie specializes in Crisis Intervention, and has served in multiple short-term appointments across Starfleet when additional counseling staff was required.
